Recruitment Fraud Notice

Harvest House Publishers has received reports that individuals pretending to represent our company have offered false employment offers to job seekers via multiple avenues, including the internet and social media. In these cases, prospective applicants have been requested to transmit money or provide sensitive personal and/or financial information to advance an application.

These communications are fraudulent and do not originate from Harvest House Publishers. They are in no way associated with our recruitment or hiring process.

The following always pertains to our company’s recruitment practices:

  • Harvest House will never ask prospective employees for any form of payment or money transfer as part of a job application, recruitment, or freelance work.
  • We will not ask prospective employees for information regarding bank accounts, credit cards, or personal passwords. We do not require applicants to purchase equipment or software.
  • Harvest House communicates with prospective employees, including freelance work, exclusively through email addresses ending in “@harvesthousepublishers.com” or “@hhpbooks.com.”
  • Harvest House will never use any instant messaging or texts to recruit for any form of employment.
  • Harvest House does not contract any translation or transcription work on our products.

If you are contacted in any way that does not follow the criteria above or is suspicious (e.g. use of improper spelling, grammar, and punctuation), you should assume the communication is fraudulent. Do not send money or personal information at the request of any alleged Harvest House employee or employment recruiter. Be sure to verify that all email addresses are legitimate and end in “@harvesthousepublishers.com” or “@hhpbooks.com.”.

If you suspect you are the target of a scam, we advise you to contact your local law enforcement agency or the FBI's Internet Crimes Complaint Center.
