"Historically mothers-in-law are at odds with one another and do not get along. They tend to disagree about things and the man is stuck in the middle. I never thought about this age old problem being the topic of a book but once I saw the title and the intent of the subject I thought 'Why haven't I seen other books like this?' This is such an important message. Whether you are the wife or the mother-in-law you can find value within this book. It is a great tool for enhancing relationships, especially those that are strained. This book is beautifully written and seasoned with humor, all of which results in a well informed and empowered woman."

“Annie is extremely honest and insightful in her assessment of the mother–in–law and daughter–in–law relationship.  The comments Annie received from the surveys she conducted were extremely enlightening, and the severity of some of the relationships she highlighted will make most people very thankful for their mother–in–law or daughter–in–law after all!  Annie does a wonderful job of helping a person see from the other in–law’s perspective, and that gives new insight and understanding to the relationship.  This book leaves the reader with a positive feeling that no relationship is hopeless, and that with prayer, forgiveness, and a little kindness and thoughtfulness healing is very possible.”
