He Enables, We Enjoy

Are you giving all the credit where it’s due?

Whatever you are able to do in the Christian life, you can do because of God—because of His empowerment, His wisdom, His strength, His everything. He is the One who keeps us from falling, and He enables us to stand in righteousness. Because of what He did through Jesus Christ, we will live in His presence someday and experience eternal bliss.

When you find yourself taking credit for an accomplishment, don’t forget who really made it possible. And when others praise you for a job well done, pass that same praise along to God. He is the One who enables you. And yet He graciously allows you to fully enjoy the benefits that result from His work in you!
