The author is a reading friend and asked me to review this book.

For this review, make sure you have a copy of the ESV, English Standard Version, translation on hand.  It is needed for all of the scripture references in this book.

We cannot serve two masters, Matthew 6:24.  This book serves as a guide, to use your financial resources wisely.

There are sections on saving, not spending recklessly, giving generously, and preparing for retirement.

This book draws heavily upon “The Parable of The Talents, The Ten Minas, and the Prodigal Son”.  So if you have a copy of the Harmony of the Gospels, keep that on hand as well.

I took many notes while reading this this text.  It is one well worth annotating, and coming back to to annotations over the years to see how life events have changed.

This book is well worth the read, and it will give you a new outlook on many of the parables.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Your Finances God’s Way: A Biblical Guide to Making the Best Use of Your Money by Scott Lapierre is a real financial guide from the scriptures entangled with practicalities of life and who else can best portray this subject than the man himself to the service of God and has a passion for such paramount theme.

This book is poles apart from other theory-based financial guidebooks. This is the first-hand experience of the author through his several years of counselling with biblical principles. This is a journey he has designed for you to walk along with him while he will be feeding your mind with logical thoughts to understand and obey the right approach to money.

Most of the books available in the market will differentiate what’s good and what’s bad but never guide you to take the balanced route. This book would be a provider of your financial wisdom because as they say “A fool and his money are soon parted.”

Every piece of advice here is well quoted with the Verses of BIBLE which shows how much the Holy Bible is progressive and relevant even in our monetary management.

The next big aspect is to make people mindful of why they are doing what they are told to do. The analytical depiction here is enough to originate the longing to obey what they would learn in this book. What could be better than to take your money-keeping guidance from the almighty who only gave you the wealth to keep for the time being. I am looking forward to more such proactive and practical real-life Biblical reference-filled read for our daily necessities of life. A highly recommended Book.
