“There is so much vying for our children’s attention that when my son wanted to read this book, I was so thrilled! He first read A Boys Guide to Making Really Good Choices. He is a typical nine-year-old, but I am so thankful that he has a desire to learn more about following God.
“I liked the fact that this book is written in terms boys can understand! Each chapter contains a story about a boy and something he is going through. Maybe he is struggling with paying attention in school, obeying his parents, doing what he is supposed to verses what he wants to do. After initiating the chapter with a catchy practical story, Jim goes on to use an acrostic with the main idea in the chapter to further explain how God wants the boy to handle the situation.
“I really feel like this book is an asset to any boy’s life. There is so much wisdom they can apply and it can be read over and over. They can read it slowly taking a chapter or a letter at a time, or quickly, going back later for reference. Our kids need more books like this!”
