Love both his books! He, like myself, saw diabetes in his future and educated himself on how to turn it around. I reached prediabetic levels 9 years ago, and have been a low carber ever since. I can testify of its effectiveness, and the fact that the advice in this book is spot on! Don’t be put off because he is a “layman” after all, experience is the best teacher. Trust me, he knows what he is talking about. I love the humility and humor in his writing. Also it is very easy for the layman to understand, and very positive and encouraging. By following the advice in this book, and viewing it as a permanent life style change, you CAN turn your health around!
