Deb Strain, whose artwork appears in A Grandma Is a Gift from God, Your Friendship Is a Gift from God, and Hope Will Light Your Way, finds inspiration for her folk art from a variety of life experiences. Her art is frequently derived from a variety of sources including nature, antique shops, friends, and her memories. An art teacher for nine years, she now devotes herself to the development of her art and has numerous licensees including AMCAL. She lives with her husband and three children in a Saltbox home near Gettysburg, Ohio.
